Learn the craft behind running an all-inclusive farm from the farmers and owners who do it every day.
The main focus for us here at the farm is education. Education about animals, who they are, their purpose in life, and beyond. Second, is to share education and the experience to be a working farm with those who might not otherwise. We offer tours to families, school groups, community organizations, and special interest groups. Anyone who is interested in the inner workings of a sustainable small scale farm in our beautiful Texas Hill Country is welcome!
On tours you may...
*Pet and hold animals
*Feed appropriate farm supplied foods
*Milk a goat (if in milking season)
*Collect fresh farm eggs
*Brush a horse
*Walk through a bee yard
*Learn about the uses on a farm for the animal groups, what they eat, what is needed to care for them, what type of shelter/living requirements they have, and other information pertinent to the animal group.
